Summary:

The Manager, Source-to-Settle, reports to the Director Accounting.

Source to Settle consists of requisitioning, purchasing, book-keeping and payment of vendor service/goods invoices. The cycle starts with purchase order creation, continues with receiving goods/services, and ends with proceeding payment of invoices. In this role, he/she will be responsible for the execution and delivery of the StS service for assigned markets in the International Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director Accounting to establish and grow the StS function; provide operational guidance and direction to team.
  • Demonstrate full operational responsibility for the StS function to ensure all deliverables are successfully achieved, including operational performance, people management and development, and adhering to compliance requirements together with supporting and implementing on transformation requirements.
  • Maintain good relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Deliver day to day operation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Lead, participate and support special projects as requested by leadership.
  • Develop a good understanding of the overall Finance organization and broader business, build and develop networks and partnerships with key Finance and business leaders across the company.
  • Resolve escalated transactional issues as needed and address process performance anomalies.
  • Identify and propose process improvement.
  • Act as a Business Partner to the business stakeholders and to members of other Finance functions, play a key role in the development of global financial processes and enhancing the capacity of the StS function.
  • Manage and develop employees.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize workload efficiently and accurately while maintaining a positive service culture.
  • Act as deputy for team members in Finance/AP.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business/economics, finance, accounting or any other related field. Degree in business/economics, finance, accounting or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of StS experience in a Shared Services environment.
  • Experience in using Oracle / PowerQuery desired.
  • Business Level fluency (oral and written) in English language a must; additionally, language skills preferred.
  • Proficient Knowledge of VAT in international markets.
